To strengthen our team in Indonesia (Tangerang), we are looking for a 2-year Technical Assistant (Consumer & Healthcare).

Role Purpose

The Technical Assistant (2 year contract) will provide operational, laboratory, and administrative support to the Technical Service team at our Technical Center (Tangerang). The role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day laboratory operations, inventory management, sample handling, documentation control, laboratory safety compliance, and support for formulation development, testing, and customer-related projects.

This position plays an important role in maintaining laboratory efficiency and supporting the execution of technical projects across Consumer Care. The Technical Assistant will work closely with the Technical Service team to ensure timely project execution, proper laboratory maintenance, and adherence to company safety and quality standards.

Job Scope

• Support daily laboratory operations, housekeeping, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Assist in sample handling, labeling, storage, inventory management, and laboratory documentation.
• Prepare raw materials, equipment, and samples for laboratory trials, testing, and evaluations.
• Assist the technical team in conducting formulation trials, stability testing, performance evaluations, and recording test results.
• Support compliance with laboratory SOPs, EHS requirements, safety inspections, and waste management practices.
• Assist in coordinating laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration schedules, and laboratory supplies.
• Support the preparation, packing, and shipment of samples and prototypes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform other laboratory support duties as assigned by the Technical Service team.

Job Requirements

• Graduate from SMAK, Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Chemistry or other related Science disciplines
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Prior laboratory, internship, or technical support experience are required
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices and Microsoft Office applications is preferred
• Comfortable working in an international and matrix organization
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
