To strengthen our team in  Shanghai , we are looking for you as a(n) Treasury Specialist.
 

Job Responsibilities

 

Responsible for liquidity management and forecasting for Wacker Greater China legal entities. The role focuses on cash flow planning, working capital management, funding visibility, and foreign exchange risk monitoring to support business operations and financial stability. Working closely with Treasury, Controlling, Accounting, Tax, and business stakeholders, the position supports statutory reporting, legal entity valuation, and finance-related decision making.

1. Liquidity management, forecasting & treasury activities (primary responsibility)
-Own and continuously improve liquidity forecasting for WGC legal entities, including short-, mid-, and long-term cash flow projections. Perform forecast accuracy reviews, variance analyses, and data validation.
-Monitor liquidity positions, funding needs, and cash flow movements to support business operations and financial stability.

-Analyze key working capital drivers, including receivables, payables, inventory, and cash conversion cycle performance, and identify opportunities to optimize liquidity.
-Support annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and business planning processes from a liquidity and cash flow perspective.
-Conduct liquidity risk assessments, scenario analyses, and business simulations to evaluate potential impacts on funding and cash flow.

-Monitor FX exposures and provide backup support for treasury activities in accordance with company policies.
2. Reporting, transparency & process Improvement
-Maintain and enhance liquidity reporting frameworks to improve visibility, transparency, and decision-making support.

-Ensure consistency and transparency of financial information across Accounting, Controlling, and Treasury reporting processes.
-Drive continuous improvements in forecasting methodologies, reporting tools, processes, and automation initiatives.
3. Entity support, compliance

-Support accounting closing activities by providing accurate financial data, variance explanations, and analytical inputs.
-Coordinate with Accounting, Tax, Legal and Treasury to support audit and compliance requirements.
-Participate in finance projects and provide ad hoc support as required.

4. Backup for FS office support activities as required.

 

Qualifications Required

-Bachelor's degree or above
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
-Big 4 audit internship or working experience is plus.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
-Self-motivated, eager to learn, and willing to take on new challenges and ad-hoc assignments.
