<Job Responsibilities>
Purpose of this job is:
- Act as the primary technical interface to the WACKER business team and lead projects related to electronic-grade silicone adhesives.
- Plan and execute new silicone adhesive development and application research within the Technical Management Team at Wacker Chemicals Korea.
- Develop electronic materials–focused silicone adhesive products, provide customer technical service, and material coordinator activities.
Core Tasks
- Develop and improve silicone adhesive products to meet electronic materials market needs.
- Identify new product opportunities by linking customer/market demands with WACKER Electronics capabilities.
- Develop new silicone adhesives for electronic packaging, semiconductors, displays, and battery applications.
- Drive commercialization of new product opportunities.
- Enhance performance and cost competitiveness versus Asian competitors.
- Provide application support for RT‑cure adhesives, lid‑seal, TIM bonding, and related electronic uses.
- Establish guidelines for off‑spec product management.
- Ensure consistent product quality and performance.
- Document and communicate all development and application results to relevant teams.
<Qualificaitons Required>
- Knowledge of silicone polymers, siloxane chemistry, curing mechanisms, and polymer binder systems.
- Strong understanding of electronics, semiconductor, and display application processes and material behaviors.
- Experience with silicone adhesive formulation, rheology/viscosity control, curing, and reliability testing.
- Practical knowledge of laboratory operations and DOE methodology.
- Strong problem‑solving ability with flexibility to address changing customer requirements.
- Technical documentation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English, (German is a plus.)
- Strong communication skills for cross‑functional and global collaboration.

Required and Preferred Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
- 2~8 years of experience in silicone materials or electronic materials (semiconductor/display/packaging).
