Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Accounting Hub, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, with a focus on sub-ledger processes within Accounts Payables & Accounts Receivables
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting regulations
• Collaborate closely with Headquarter and other departments (e.g., Purchasing, Tax) to ensure alignment and efficiency
• Support audits and act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Monitor performance metrics and service levels within the Shared Service Center environment
• Provide guidance on accounting topics including basic VAT (European value-added tax) matters
• Manage stakeholder relationships at local and international levels
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of up to 15 - 20 employees
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support employee development
• Drive change management initiatives within the Accounting Hub
Your Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or a relevant qualification (in the field of accounting, tax, or similar)
• 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance
• Proven leadership experience, including managing teams of up to 15 -20 people
• Experience working in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment
• Strong knowledge of SAP processes, particularly within sub-ledger accounting
• Basic understanding of European VAT regulations
• Familiarity with financial controls, reporting standards, and process optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• German language skills are a plus
