Job Resposibilities

• Definition of the job: 
- To lead direct procurement function by developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and support teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and service that meet required quality To drive team performance.

• Responsibility
- Supplier management : supplier audit, supplier quality management, supplier pool management
- Strategic procurement management : Navigate market information incl. supply security, feedstock market analysis, cost structure analysis and set procurement strategy including structural cost saving roadmap
- Contract/ PO management incl. adequate approval.
- Negotiation for key raws
- Procurement data & efficiency management.  
- Team performance management

• General duties
- Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities and delivering results reliably and leading by example and fostering a culture of trust and responsibility
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, strengthen internal and external relationships through regular meetings and communication, and foster a culture of mutual respect.
- Understand and comply with relevant laws, company policies, HR, and operational procedures, applying them to daily work
- Proactively identify potential risks in procurement operations and safety including supplier relationship management, and implement appropriate measures to ensure organizational stability
- Proactive and strategic approach to consistently improving work processes, team productivity, and the collective expertise of the organization.
- Being equipped mindset for embracing change, respectful diverse perspectives, and adaption to evolving business environments

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor degree
• Minimum 10 years experience in direct procurement in chemical industry and Min 3 years experience in people management
• Strategic sourcing skill, market understanding in chemical industry is must
• People management, cross functional collaboration skill, ethics & compliance awareness is required
• Skill for General procurement tool (e.g SAP, Ariba, Pinpool) is required
• Organizational operations and financial acumen are preferred
• Basic knowledge of international trading incl. INCOTERMS is preferred
• Skill for trouble shooting in difficult market situation and striving for continuous improvement are required
• English communications, analytical skills and being able to use MS office are must
• Task-oriented, responsible manners, open minded for changing and collaborative attitude are must
