we are looking for you as a(n) Electrical Engineer

Job responsibilities:

The Electrical Engineer (part of the sub department Project Engineering);

  • Plans & delivers capital investment projects in his/her field of expertise, Electrical, Process, Instrumentation & Automation or Equipment Engineering);
  • Participates in multi-disciplinary capital investment projects that are led by project leaders from the (Corporate) Engineering department;
  • Leads mono-disciplinary projects in his/her field of expertise;
  • Is responsible from early design phase up to formal release of involved systems for GMP production by QA;:
    • generates, contributes and maintains the project documentation as required, amongst others:
      • project (execution plan) 
      • scheduling documents, budget overviews, and resource planning
      • User requirement specifications based on client department information, equipment and/or component specifications 
      • P&IDs, and Electrical diagrams
  • Works with Procurement and Finance to contact and follow-up with supplier;
  • Works with Procurement and Finance to contact and follow-up with suppliers;
  • Works with the Qualification and Validation group, Process Networks and Systems group;
  • Works with the client department to plan and execute training and handover;
  • Ensures that the equipment files and drawings are updated with all the latest as-built revision;
  • Ensures that all formal Change Control aspects are addressed and followed up;
  • Manages the project from start to finish with the relevant stakeholders
    • For multi-disciplinary projects:
      • Provide input and generates documents in his / her field of expertise as per project requirements
      • Participates in project meetings, HAZOPs, design reviews and risks assessments as needed etc.,
      • Reviews and approves design documents as required
  • Assists the Technical Services group as needed to resolve issues based on his/her specific knowledge if needed;
  • Provides input to the future investment plans for the site.

 

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in a relevant technical field;
  • 5 years or more relevant working experience, preferably in a Pharma/Biotech company;
  • Independent, organized person with good communication;
  • A 'safety first and quality always' mindset;
  • A good level of English;
  • You reside in and are eligible to work in The Netherlands (valid work permit).
