To strengthen our team in Adrian, we are looking for you as a Site Plant Security (f/m/d)
This position is responsible for Security and Site Support at the ADR site Security Center in order to achieve established targets and objectives. This position reports directly to the ADR Plant Security Lead. Position will be staffed at the WACKER Adrian, MI location.
Essential Functions of this Position
- The position will ensure Security Coordination and Site Support service level, with focus upon policy, programs, and procedures.
- Responsibility for ensuring Site Security Procedures are effectively managed and administered, including FTZ/DHS Security aspects.
- Support coordination for the NCA Region with security aspects (Managing ID Badging, Monitoring Security CCTV, Visitors) Truck Deliveries and Tanker processing, and hub for NCA Region central point for ChemTrec and Off-Site Telephone Inquiries.
- Will ensure the ADR Security Center is continually ready for incoming inquiries (e-call and other) from WACKER NCA Region Sites.
- Ensure site emergency readiness is fulfilled.
- Required to cover additional shifts as needed to fulfill service level requirements of the ADR site when other team members are not available.
Position Qualifications
- Associates Degree is required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience within a security function, including supervisory capabilities.
- The position will require overtime on off-shifts as needed (24/7/365).
- Position works within an office, plant, and laboratory settings.
- Must pass all pre-employment requirements.
- Multi-tasking competency and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with
- continual interruptions
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness and ability to learn new tasks and tools (SAP, WACKER Intranet, Business Warehouse
- Enterprise Buyer, WACKER specific IT tools, etc.)
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) including inclusion and collaboration.
- Ability to operate computer equipment and related ancillary equipment. Walk, sit, and climb with light lifting. Ability to utilize PPE as required by site and task procedure(s).
