
Position Responsibilities
- Oversee production of assigned process equipment to ensure safe, quality, timely production to meet customer demand.
- Assure appropriate EHS&S practices/policies are identified and followed.
- Create and maintain Equipment Operating Instructions for all equipment of responsible processes and conduct training of all operators that work on this equipment accordance with these EOI's.
- Provide appropriate SAP training.
- Work with production scheduler to develop a mutually agreed upon production schedule that best satisfies customer demand.
- Coordinate with maintenance and contractors to perform defined repairs and process changes. Spearhead continuous improvements for Safety, Quality, and Productivity. Troubleshoot equipment problems. Coordinate with Process Chemists, Chemist of Record, Engineers, etc. to address issues listed above.
Position Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 2-5 Years relevant experience required
- 2-5 years in leadership Role required
- Basic Computer Skills
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Good Communication Skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- SAP Experience/ Knowledge Preferable
- 6 Sigma Preferable
- Lean Manufacturing Preferable
