At our site in Zhangjiagang, we are currently looking for a(n) Sr. Plant Engineer - E&I.
Job Responsibilities:
- EHHS, work with plant manager and EHSS engineer responsible to assure safe operation of the equipment and make sure all national and internal regulations are obeyed; perform regularly risk analyses.
- Responsible for all maintenance issues of the Plant insurance of plant availability (especially technical) and product quality in close cooperation with the plant manager by beeing responsible for spare parts and supplier management,
- Control adherence to guidelines, rules and regulations, especially concerning pressure vessels; emissions and waste water specification
- Documentation: Ensure that process and construction documentation meets internal and national standards
- Responsible for maintenance strategy (preventive and total productive maintenance)
- Responsible for budgeting for investments and technical spending and responsible for approved capital and its appropriate use in alignment with the Site Engineering Manager.
- Equipment availability and products line technical loss in OEE system
- Responsible for small project approved fixed assets/capital and its appropriate use, lead team work
- Cooperate with plant engineer teams, organize multi-disciplinary team work
- Support engineering manager to do project feasibility, process study and plant hand over work
- Take additional team task from site engineering manager
Qualifications Required:
Experience/Skill Requirement
- Around 5 years electrical subject in maintenance, project & operation in chemical industry plant
- Same instrumentation and control experience
- Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Basic Knowledge of DCS.
- Very familiar with schematic wiring and P&I diagram.
- Good experience in project involvement.
- Urgency of action and good team player. Good budget preparation and spare parts management skills. Self and external driven spirit. Have strong learning and independent working ability.
- Good English reading skill, good spoken English an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
Education Background:
- University degree in industry electrical engineering or equivalent in chemical industry engineering or related.
Special qualifications:
- Problem/result- oriented working , creative/practical thinking

- Good budget preparation and spare parts management skills
- Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, good communication skills, team spirit

- Participate in on call duty service 24/7.
