WACKER SILICONES is one of the world’s biggest silicone manufacturers with silicone-based system solutions and over 3,000 different products. At our Zhangjiagang site, we are currently looking for a(n) ​Logistics Specialist​ to join our growing team.

 

Job Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for the EHSS and Product Stewardship of related area and positions to ensure compliance of company policy and regulations and national laws and related regulations.
- Arrange proper export shipping schedule based on customer's order, prepare related shipping documents for export customs declaration and documents to overseas customer, include contract, invoice, packing list, license and certificate etc. 
- Track the process of product loading and export customs declaration, make sure the products are dispatched as schedule. Monitor the shipping status and send delay notification to customer if any. Coach LSP to maintain LCT as defined process.
- Well collaborate with cross teams such like CSR/MRP/FA/Technical etc. Monitor and collect related customs regulation of import & export as well as logistics marketing intelligence. Maintain the relationship with China Customs and other related departments.
- Regular review and maintain shipping logistics procedure, drive for logistics process improvement and optimization.
- Analyze and monitor logistics cost regularly, identify the opportunity for cost reduction. 
- Logistics service provider (LSP) management, including not limit to design and monitor KPIs, spot check, performance review or complaint management.
- Understand IATF16949 related requirements; provide customers with products and services that meet requirements in accordance with legal and regulatory, customer requirements and internal management processes.
- Other task assigned by supervisor.

 

Qualifications Required:

­- College or above graduate. 
­- At least 3-5 years experiences in logistic field, multinational company's logistics experience and in Chemical industry is an advantage. 
­- Experience in SAP will be a plus 
­- Fluent both oral and written English skill. 
- Team player, communication and problem-solving skill. 
- Willing to take work at pressure.
