At our site in Shanghai, we are currently looking for a(n) Sr. Technical Manager.

- Manage CEMO lab to continuously develop the lab standards and capabilities. 
- Build up and manage E-mobility competence center to deliver technical knowhow, including but not limited to application case-study, benchmark database, testing protocol, report standard. 
- Initiate and lead projects of product development and product transfer. 
- Provide the best Wacker solutions to meet customer needs and solve customer problems.
- Collect and analyze the customer needs and intelligence in technology to provide strategic suggestions to NEV projects and business development. 
- Support project/product launch programs, organize and actively participate into technical seminars and workshops.
- Act as a people manager to develop a sustainable talent pipeline. 
- Understand IATF16949 related requirements; provide customers with products and services that meet requirements in accordance with legal and regulatory, customers and internal product development processes.

- Min. master degree, chemical or material science related specialty;
- Min. 8 years of experience in technical positions, incl. 3 years in Automotive related industry;
- Good knowledge of chemical material in TIM, battery pack, or e-motor and power conversion unit;
- Solid project management experience with automotive OEMs or Tier 1;
- R&D experience in formulating adhesives, pastes, encapsulants, or coatings;
- Proven leadership with a broad view; self-motivated and good at motivating others;
- Customer oriented, result driven, and open-minded to new solutions; 
- Good communication skill and presentation skill;
- Good command of language usage in both Chinese and English;
- Skills on applicable techniques, product design tools and quality tools (e.g. APQP and FMEA).
