At our site in Shanghai, we are currently looking for a(n) Sr. Segment Manager-硅烷.

Job Responsibilities

- Developing the global strategy for the focus segments and anchoring it in the global BU strategy.
- Alignment/Development of Market-Segment-Strategies globally (e.g. MDPs - market development plans)
- Market Intelligence (with Regional Marketing, tracking of competitors/MDB - market data base, global market developments and trends)
- Facilitate exchange between the regional Business Teams and further development of competence transfer.
- USPs, Offering, Channel-Strategy, Branding, Price positioning for new products and price models, together with Regional Marketing for focus market segments.
- Global Product Portfolio-Management Accountability of OFS.
- Responsible for long-term demand plan by alignment with regional BTs and considering strategic assumptions as a basis for investments / Asset Strategy / R&D projects
- Creator for BP1, BP5, BP10 volume plan in coordination with BT's, S-CO and S-SC
- Allocation: BU-Guideline definition and allocation of available volumes to regional BT's within BU
- Price-Corridor depending on BU-Approach for Price-Steering (using available pricing tool, e.g. PROS in implementation)


Qualifications Required

- Bachelor's degree or above, major in Chemistry related or Marketing related subjects;
- Very strong independent working ability, initiative and self-motivated;
- Very good communication and intercultural skills, willing to communicate with colleagues and customers with different background, nationality and culture;
- Management skill of coordinating virtual team cross functions i.e. sales and technical service;
- Excellent oral English, strong capability to make presentations in public;
- Flexible to go business travel domestically and overseas;
- At least 5-year marketing or sales related working experience in wide range of chemical industries, experience in multinational companies is preferred;
