Job Responsibilities    
- To be one of the technical experts in R&D team, working on VAE dispersions and dispersible powders
- To carry out research and development on VAE dispersions and dispersible polymer powders, including emulsion polymerization, spray drying, application test and scale-up
- To work with Marketing and TS team on initiation and delivery of new product development projects, and to drive for successful commercialization of new products
- To work with plant on process optimization, trouble shooting and raw material qualification
- To work closely with global innovation team for knowledge transfer and global projects
- To drive innovation by proposing new ideas and preparing project proposals
- To keep awareness of Intellectual Property and support IP filing

Qualifications Required    
- Master or PhD degree in polymer technology, material science or other polymer related fields
- 2+ years' work experience on water-based coatings/adhesives
- Familiar with emulsions like acrylates, styrene acrylates, styrene butadiene latex, PUD and/or VAE
- Familiar with additives like surfactant, defoamer, dispersant and thickener is preferred
- Strong learning ability, eager to learn new knowledge and skills
- Initiative, positive and good team player
