At our site in Shanghai, we are currently looking for a(n) Sr. Logistics Specialist-高级物流专员.

Job Responsibilities

- Logistics infrastructures involve in investment and optimization projects; conduct feasibility study including but not limit to capability/flow/process design or modification; deliver logistics input for site layout design aligned with logistics functions' leader.
- Logistics project initiation and management
a) Understand business strategy and priority, identify logistics project needs, define and incorporate projects representing business interest.
b) Engage regional functional counterparts to build effective cross-functional relationships for cooperation and support.
c) Ensure project status are timely updated and presented to management team.
- Logistics operation automation and digitalization.
a) Promote process automation or digitalization both on materials and information flow, system integration of information flow and material flow; integrating existing standardize process at Wacker, including not limit to order fulfillment, tracking, billing, reporting etc.
b) System deployment / project support includes requirement collection and analysis.
- Logistics performance excellence development.
a) Market intelligence collection, new technology or best practice study, analysis and promote, provide constructive input with logistics professional.
b) Initiate cost control or saving opportunity through optimizing network.
- Collaboration & Cooperation
a) Co-ordinate activities with other work units or department; closely collaborate with global logistics functions team. Including not limit project, global/regional best practice sharing etc. 
b) Support internal & external customer on logistics specific request.
- Fulfill Wacker safety goals and code of ethics, identify safety improvements with GC logistics function and keep good working environment.
- Others, new tasks assigned by line manager if any.


Qualifications Required

- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or engineering. 
- Minimum 7 year experience in supply chain logistics or related field
- Proficiency in SAP SD Module, Business Intelligence, MS office
- Digitalization project experience preferred
- Proven strong leadership, excellent analytical skills and project management skill, open for change
- Experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, RPA/APA is preferred.
- Knowledge and practice in applying change and Six sigma/Lean management skills would be a plus
- Able to work with an international team, willingness to travel
- Fluent in English, speaking and writing
