Job Responsibilities
- Build the market intelligence in consumer silicones market, including but not limited to market demands, trend, global / local competition activities. Initiate and coordinate the market research projects and get deep insight of focused new applications.
- Propose the market development strategy, market segment strategy, and new business development strategy based on comprehensive market data and deep market understanding.
- Implement new business /products development strategy; lead assigned resources in virtual team (marketing, sales, technical service, SD ) to drive the business/products development in new applications.
- Define the segment price strategy and implement the daily price management by customer structure, competition and cost / profitability analysis.
-Work with sales team to optimize the process of demand planning, taking care the related the sales coordination with supply chain.
- Develop the marketing communication strategy with innovative approach to meet consumer market needs, manage the market communication budget and the related actives.
- Windows person of communicating with related global marketing functions.
- Support BT on executive reporting.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor degree or above, major in Chemistry related or Marketing related subjects;
- At least 5-year marketing or sales related working experience in wide range of chemical industries, experience in multinational companies is preferred;
- Very strong independent working ability, initiative and self-motivated;
- Very good communication and intercultural skills, willing to communicate with colleagues and customers with different background, nationality and culture;
- Management skill of coordinating virtual team cross functions i.e. sales and technical service;
- Excellent oral English, strong capability to make presentations in public;
- Flexible to go business travel domestically and overseas;
- Good IT skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook etc.).
