At our site in Shanghai, we are currently looking for a(n) Controlling Specialist/财务控制专员.

Job Responsibilities

Business and Operation Analysis:
- prepare monthly management reporting (eg Sales Analysis, Business result of Division Silicones)
- support quarterly Division S rolling forecast and cash flow forecast reporting of Silicones
- monitor and evaluate sales rebate agreements, accruals and reversals from month to month
- monitor R&D monthly hour bookings, R&D Internal order management and co-ordinate R&D documentation for audit purpose
- support Division Silicones Controlling Manager:
  a) local BTs in evaluation of new business models and strategies as sparring partner
  b) set up, analyze and comment monthly business development report, highlight key findings and insights to BTs, propose and implement improvement actions in Bi-monthly Controlling meeting with BTs and Plant Managers
- support productivity management team for projects or measures to improve productivity, operation excellence or cost saving
- conduct economic calculations for investment projects
- support other ad hoc activities


- conduct and coordinate budgeting procedures BP1 / BP5
- work out and justify BP5 results
- prepare and discuss the cost center budgets with cost center responsible management
- ensure BP1 budget figure correctly uploaded, verified and well documented


Qualifications Required

- Study of economics or similar, University degree or above
- minimum 1-2 years' experience in Finance/Controlling or related discipline in a multinational production company
- fluent in Chinese and English (reading and writing); German language helpful but not mandatory
- good communication and negotiation skills
- proactive, self-disciplined and highly self-motivated
- able to challenge existing structures / procedures; persistent in change management
- willing to take challenges and new tasks; able to work under high pressure
- familiar with SAP/CO helpful but not mandatory and MS Office/Outlook
