At our site in Shanghai, we are currently looking for a(n) Business Development Manager- Auto.

Job Responsibilities

- Understand and articulate the entire value chains, technology trend evolvement, market trend in NEV and fuel cell vehicles markets. 
- Identify, collect, research, and understand new potential markets, customer needs, industry trends and new technologies to find out potential and valuable segments and then provide development proposal on product, application, technology, and customer solutions to ensure our long-term business success.
- Build deep and comprehensive relationship with key decision makers and value chain champions, such as lead OEMs and Tier1s to identify critical needs, win trust and preferably participate in design/project development. 
- Quality input from early learning (success or valuable failure or trend analysis) into Marketing, Sales, Tech Service, R&D for necessary strategy shift or course correction.
- Joint work with Marketing to establish value proposition of our solutions and competitive benchmarking for next best alternative (in-kind/not in-kind) for value selling. Lead example for Sales team.
- Joint work with Marketing, TS, R&D, Sales to have internal alignment and to get support to drive development programs. Manage development pipeline in Salesforce system and deliver close won for growth.
- Build up the partnership with external related parties such as authorities, industrial associations, institutes, universities & etc. to promote Wacker Brands and track new technology and application trends.


Qualifications Required

- More than 5 years' experience in sales or business developments in Auto related industry, or experience in E-driving systems/ADAS/Thermal Management/AVSS system in Tier1s or OEMs 
- Degree in polymer or mechanical background at work, and marketing experience is a plus
- Nature of curiosity and strong driver to learn; open-minded to accept failure
- Strong project management Skills
- Fluency in English, and good communication and people skill in a complex environment.
- Cross cultural experience to work with different functional partners in multiple regions.
- Strong self-motivated and result oriented. 
- Acceptance to domestic travel frequency up to 50%
