
The Process Development Intern will play a key role in supporting process development (PD) activities by managing buffer preparation and the change to ELN while ensuring consistency and scalability. The intern will also contribute to enhancing buffer preparation capabilities to meet evolving project needs. Additionally, the intern may assist in advancing an AI-driven inventory management initiative, leveraging innovative tools to optimize inventory processes. Depending on resource availability, intern may participate in a lysis optimization DOE as well.
Essential Skills:
- Management of PD buffer supply
- Manage transition from paper-based records to ELN
- Lead PD buffer scaling project
- Contribute to new inventory management system
- Play a key role in Lysis optimization DOE
Critical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment
- Collaborates well with colleagues from PD and other departments
- Basic lab experience with dilutions, molarity, pH, and conductivity
- Strong organizational skills, manages time and records efficiently
- Openminded and flexible to changing priorities and requirements
- Experience with statics, DOE, advanced lab techniques or equipment a plus
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in laboratory environment.
- Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must provide own transportation and housing
- Must be available from June 2, 2025 through August 25, 2025
- **Some laboratory experience preferred.
