At our San Diego site, we are currently looking for a  ​Manufacturing- Associate I/II​ to be a part of our growing team.



Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible to perform upstream and downstream production activities in a cGMP manufacturing environment with supervision. The responsibilities of entry to mid-level manufacturing associate are:

  • Train on performing fermentation, MCB, MWCB, lysis, chromatography, and buffer preparation operations
  • Assist in troubleshooting process and equipment
  • Comfortable or experienced working in a cGMP cleanroom environment, including familiarity with cGMP documentation practices and process deviation investigations
  • Assist in writing and revising GMP documentation including batch records and SOPs
  • A working knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing and cGMPs
  • Knowledge of glass washing and autoclaving machines, scales, pH meters, with previous experiences preferred
  • Individual who is detail-orientated and possesses excellent organization skills
  • Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Team player with good communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Provide support for calibration, maintenance and validation activities
  • Assisting the manufacturing team in setting up
  • Maintaining plant supplies
  • Participating in the daily upkeep of the plant.
  • Pay attention to details, maintain accurate records and documentation, and adhere to safe manufacturing practices.



  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 0 to 3 related experience in a commercial pharmaceutical or biologics GMP facility and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles.
  • Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions and possess good writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment is essential.
  • Able to work off-shift hours when required.
