To strengthen our team in  Shanghai , we are looking for you as a(n) R&D Manager-TIM.
 

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and commercialization of TIM products.
- Drive technology innovation and fundamental research to support business growth and emerging application needs.
- Develop and optimize products through formulation development, material characterization, filler technology innovation, and performance validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up new products and support commercial manufacturing.
- Partner with customers and commercial teams to define CTQs, assess technical feasibility, and develop customer-focused solutions.
- Manage product development projects throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Benchmark competitors' TIM products and technologies.
- Build and protect intellectual property assets and technical know-how.
- Ensure compliance with IMS, ISO, EHSS, and applicable quality standards, including IATF 16949.

Qualifications Required:

- PHD. or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in TIM R&D and commercialization.
- Strong expertise in TIM and electronic materials development, including material design, formulation development, performance optimization, reliability validation, failure analysis, and commercialization.
- Solid knowledge of silicone, acrylic, epoxy, polyurethane, and hybrid polymer technologies.
- Proficient in material characterization and analytical techniques for product development and problem-solving.
- Good understanding of thermally conductive filler technologies, surface treatment, and filler-polymer interactions.
- Proven experience in product development, scale-up, and intellectual property management.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to support product industrialization and manufacturing transfer.
- Customer-focused with the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and product specifications.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools.
