PROJECT ENGINEER EI&C

Job Responsibilities

• Engineering and execution of projects / project tasks in the field of electrical, instrumentation, DCS-systems and automation technology for production plants in the chemical industry
• Expert consulting for internal clients, coordination of requirements and project scope
• Design, engineering and implementation of instrumentation, controls and automation solutions
• Specification, commissioning, coordination and acceptance of external services and systems
• Supervision of the construction phase and support during commissioning with subsequent handover to the client
• Responsibility for cost and schedule of assigned tasks and projects

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/ University degree in engineering in the fields of electrical engineering, instrumentation and controls or DCS and automation technology
• Knowledge of the relevant technical standards, codes and regulations
• Experience in project management is an advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• German as an advantage
• Knowledge of common IT applications and relevant engineering tools
• Commitment, sense of responsibility, flexibility, assertiveness
• Ability for team-oriented cooperation with internal and external functions
