Professional Engineer Digital EIC Processes
Job Responsibilities
- Coordination and structuring of requirements for digital EIC engineering processes
- Implementation of related tasks and defined projects
- Experience of Operation of the CAx tools COMOS (Process/Mechanical engineering and EIC) and/or E3D (3D Modeling)
- Ownership of established, digital processes in EIC engineering (including support and optimization of engineering workflows in COMOS and E3D, training system, cost estimation, etc.)
- Collaboration with the established process/mechanical engineering support functions of the department (e.g. for specifications)
- Quality assurance and oversight of third party engineering and design work
- Development or improvement of company internal standards, procedures or tools
- Management and maintenance of interfaces and data exchange between individual CAE systems (e.g. COMOS, E3D, EDMC, SAP, structural model)
- Performing the technical interface to specialist departments and various committees
- Cost and deadline tracking of responsible work packages
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (or comparable) in Industrial or Electrical Engineering
- Detailed knowledge of standards, codes and regulations related to EIC engineering and design
- Thorough interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of project engineering and industrial construction
- Thorough knowledge of practices and procedures along engineering, design and construction phases in context with chemical industry, power generation or infrastructure facilities
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines in the area of plant and process safety
- Experience with relevant engineering tools (e.g. COMOS, E3D)
- Knowledge of common IT applications (MS Office, SAP, etc.)
- Very good language skills in English or German
- Safety awareness
