Procurement Efficiency & Data Expert

Job Responsibilities

• Consultation for buyers, requisitioners and suppliers with respect to procurement systems (such as SAP-MM, guided buying platform, Ariba, AFI-Order Confirmation, EDI connections)
• Consultation for WACKER functions and suppliers with respect to the system to manage outbound logistics "Logistics Control Tower"
• Management of EDI/portal connection of the suppliers
• Data checks & maintenance of procurement related master data in SAP (e.g. supplier or material master, purchasing info-record) and other procurement systems (e.g. eAuctions and contracts in ARIBA)
• Change management and training activities for procurement systems
• Participation and business lead of IT projects to increase procurement efficiency in collaboration with IT (RPA, automation, new systems) incl. system tests

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in information technology, business administration, engineering, natural science, mathematics or comparable qualification
• Minimum 2 years work experience in procurement or as a procurement system support function
• Experience and advanced knowledge of SAP MM, preferably supplemented by experience of further procurement related systems (e.g. ARIBA and/or EDI)
• Fluent in written and spoken English and preferably, German
• Team player with very good communication skills
• IT affinity, analytical, creative and solution-oriented thinking combined with a structured way of working
