DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of our production software applications.
  Support in software deployments and release rollouts under supervision.
• Monitor system performance, assist in troubleshooting issues, and help ensure system reliability and availability. 
• Develop basic automation scripts to enhance system efficiency and reduce human error.
• Document IT processes and system configurations as directed.
• Collaborate with several teams to contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure.

Qualifications Required:

• Completed education in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Some professional experience or internships in managing IT systems.
• Basic knowledge of handling tools such as Splunk, Grafana, SQL, IIS, and Kubernetes. 
• Exposure to or experience working with cross functional DevOps teams, preferably in the process or manufacturing industry.
• Basic programming skills in C# and experience with the .NET platform.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving competence, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Team player with good communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
