Head of Supply Chain

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and optimize supply chain processes to ensure efficient resource utilization, timely deliveries, and alignment with company objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and evaluate the supply chain team, ensuring clear goals and responsibilities.
• Coordinate order processing, production planning, and material disposition.
• Manage inventory and service level targets effectively.
• Drive process optimization and digitalization initiatives, including master data management.
• Collaborate proactively with production, logistics, procurement, and other departments locally and globally.
• Assess and improve efficiency, performance, and innovation within the supply chain function.
• Act as process owner for documentation to maintain IATF 16949 certification.
• Actively participate in projects and strategic initiatives.
• Report disciplinary to the Operations Director CZ and functionally to the Global Head of Supply Chain Solids.

Job Requirements

• University degree or at least secondary education with graduation
• Extensive experience in the supply chain department in a manufacturing company
• Knowledge of English language spoken and written, German is an advantage
• Computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Office) – advanced knowledge
• Leadership & team management skills, management communication skills
• Logical thinking, systematic approach, planning and organizing work, numerical skills
• Flexibility, independence, ability to handle stress and work under pressure.
