• Operational Procurement tasks
• Coordination with demanders (obtaining specifications and quantities/dates), mainly located in Germany
• Obtaining quotes
• Evaluating quotes and awarding contracts
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Drafting contracts and entering and administering them in SAP
• Creating Purchase orders in SAP, change management
• Expediting, reminders
• Invoice verification
• Master data management
  
  

Job Requirements

• Completed commercial training
• Experience and skills in negotiation management an advantage or ability to learn quickly
• Business English fluently (verbal and contract texts); German is an advantage
• Good comprehension and understanding of economic relationships, motivation, and perseverance to achieve an attractive degree
• Good basic communication skills: ability to present and communicate facts to suppliers and internal WACKER stakeholders
• Concentrated, fast, and precise work
• High accuracy and reliability
• Broad knowledge of systems and processes, especially SAP
• Ability/willingness to quickly learn how to use new systems and work with them efficiently
• Resilience, ability to work in a team and integrate, good communication skills
• Willingness and ability to familiarize yourself with new areas and topics
