Quality and Sustainability Specialist

Job responsibilities:

• Active contribution of the sustainability management activities, such as collection, expediting, quality checks and maintenance of the suppliers' product CO2-footprints, certificates and action items 

• Technical and administrative processing of sustainability data in the respective tools and systems 

• Promote the implementation of new procurement related sustainability regulations 

• Maintenance of quality, sustainability and supplier related data in SAP (e.g. Q-info records, certificates) and other procurement systems 

• Processing of supplier complaints with input from procurement and the suppliers incl. the responsibility for "in time / in quality" completion (e.g. 8D report) 
• Change management, training activities and consultation for quality, with focus on supplier & sustainability management related topics  

Job requirements:

• Bachelor degree in engineering, business administration, natural/environmental science or a comparable qualification 

• 2 years work experience in supply chain sustainability (CO2-footprint, Supply Chain Compliance)  

• Knowledge in quality/complaint management, preferably, with focus on supplier quality management / supplier quality engineering Preferably knowledge of Carbon Footprint related normative requirements (e.g. ISO 14067, etc.) 

• Preferably experience and advanced knowledge of SAP, preferably SAP QM and SAP MM  

• Accuracy and ability to summarize complex technical issues in simple words 

• Fluent in written and spoken English and, preferably, German 

• Team player with very empathic communication skills, persuasiveness and assertiveness
