To strengthen our HUB team in Pilsen we are looking for:

Platform Engineer

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Automate the provisioning of services adhering to Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts and SQL queries for effective monitoring and to optimize platform performance and data management.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Business Users to design and implement scalable and efficient platform solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Monitor system performance, platform cost and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Manage connections to source systems.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technology trends to continuously improve our platform.

Profile/Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer/Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) and their services.
• Good knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform).
• Familiarity with Databricks Provider is an advantage.
• Knowledge in data management (e,g. archiving, backup) and the setup of interfaces between systems along with authentication mechanisms
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent English skills. German skills are a bonus.
• Certfiications in Microsoft Azure or Databricks are welcome.
