CAE/CAD Designer

Job Responsibilities

Coordination and implementation of CAE/CAD data migration activities:

• Consulting: Advice/assessment of the planned migration, definition of goals
• Transfer of the process design or EI&C inventory documentation and the associated data to Comos
• Tendering and awarding (obtaining offers, comparing, assessing)
• Progress tracking and quality checking
• Execution and review of process design or EI&C tasks for our maintenance or engineering department

Operational support for internal and external users:

• Creating queries 
• Mass processing of data
• Data quality check
• General user support
• Assistance in definition of new engineering design standards
• Active participation in the optimization of the functionalities in the CAE system Comos together with our system administrators

Job Requirements

• Technician or craftsman education in the filed - AD/mechanical/process/electrical/EI&C, or comparable education with practice knowledge and gained experience
• Knowledge in plant maintenance and/or plant engineering
• Experience in using CAE/CAD systems is preferred (e.g. COMOS)
• Knowledge of the relevant laws, regulations and technical regulations
• Knowledge of the common IT applications (Office applications, SAP)
• English spoken and written
• Problem-oriented, creative thinking
• Team and communication skills
• Willingness to travel
