
Position Overview:
- Work with sales managers and customers to identify customer needs and develop applicable formulations.
- Developing appropriate testing plans for work to support opportunities.
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues.
- Coordinate with operations to introduce new products and address quality issues with existing products.
- Optimize cost position during product development through formulation optimization.
- Provide support for chemical and lab safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
- Chemical Engineering / Material science with 3+ years in a technical role in a chemical manufacturing environment and/or QA/QC laboratory.
- Rubber compounding, rubber testing, or rubber processing experience a plus
