Senior Process Safety Engineer

At our site in Nanjing, we are currently looking for a(n) Senior Process Safety Engineer.

Job Responsibilities：

- understand and follow corporate process safety related requirements
- understand and follow process safety related Chinese laws and regulations
- understand and follow process safety management system of WGC based on the 4 pillars of a safety management system (safety policies and  procedures, safety risk management, safety promotion, safety assurance)
- chair process hazard analysis (new projects, MOC's, regular reviews)
- conduct HAZOP & LOPA studies (incl. consequence analysis)
- understand and apply existing technical standards for process hazard analysis and existing technical guidance specific to WGC
- train people involved in process hazard analysis
- follow pre-startup safety review process and ensure its quality (PSSR)

Qualifications Required：

   -   University degree in chemical industry related major is a minimum
   -   Minimum of 5 years working experience in process safety management and process hazard analysis
   -   Minimum of 5 years working experience in operation related functions in chemical production related and/or engineering companies.
   -   Professional knowledge and experience in the fields of Safety, Safety engineering, Process engineering, Environmental Protection, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene and Chemistry.
   -   Professional knowledge and experience in the field of chemical reaction safety, powder handling and handling of flammable liquid and gases
   -   Evidence of leadership skill.
   -   Good communication skill with different levels within a company organization
   -   Fluency in English and Mandarin.
   -   Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
   -   Proactive, result oriented, perseverant, focused, systematic, pays attention to the details
