At our site in Nanjing, we are currently looking for a(n) Compliance Risk Management Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

- Maintain an overview of the changes of the Chinese regulations and standards for safety, firefighting,
- explosion protection, health, environment protection, waste handling, hazardous chemical storage
- and engineering project permitting based on the inputs of EHSS&PS, Engineering and PA
- departments and external sources
- Provide regular updates about the status of the management of changes related to the Chinese
regulations and standards for safety, firefighting, explosion protection, health, environment
protection, waste handling, hazardous chemical storage and engineering project permitting
- Provide regular updates about the design and implementation of corrective actions related to
non-compliance to the Chinese regulations and standards related to safety, firefighting, explosion
protection, health, environment protection, waste handling, hazardous chemical storage, and
engineering project permitting
- Audit compliance situation related to safety, firefighting, explosion protection, health, environment
protection, waste handling, hazardous chemical storage and engineering project permitting
 - Coordinate the alignment of permitting strategies and critical data inputs for permits related to EHS
and Engineering Projects (e.g. EIA, SIA, etc.)
 - Coordinate and supervise the creation and update of guidance to support compliance of engineering
projects and operation to Chinese regulations and standards for safety, firefighting, explosion
protection, health, environment protection, waste handling, hazardous chemical storage and
permitting, especially for the design of engineering projects
- Keep regular communication with public affairs
- Proactively approach government agencies and third party agencies together with the responsible
department to understand engineering project EHS permitting requirements and interpretation of
Chinese regulations and laws for safety, firefighting, explosion protection, health, environment
protection, waste handling, chemical storage, and assist engineering project teams along the
permitting approval process, especially for government relationships and discussions related to EHS
topics

 

Qualifications Required:

- University degree in chemical industry related major is a minimum
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in EHS, Project Engineering, Public Affairs or Government
Affairs
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in operation related functions in a chemical or engineering
company
- Professional knowledge and experience in the fields of Safety, Safety engineering, Process
engineering, Environmental Protection, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene and Chemistry.
- Professional knowledge and experience in the field of government policies and regulations
- Professional knowledge and experience in government relationship
- Evidence of leadership skill.
-  Good communication skill with different levels within a company organization
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, result oriented, perseverant, focused, systematic, pays attention to the details
