To strengthen our team in  Hong Kong , we are looking for you as a(n) Internal Audit Specialist.
 

Job Responsibilities

•    Plan and execute risk-based audits as lead auditor or co-auditor across Greater China, Asia Pacific, and globally (Germany, USA, Europe), in accordance with the Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS) and WACKER audit methodologies.
•    Assess governance, risk management, and controls with particular emphasis on production/manufacturing environments (plant operations, maintenance, quality, EHSS, supply chain, procurement).
•    Develop clear, actionable recommendations to mitigate risks, improve processes, and enhance operational efficiency; track and validate management action plans.
•    Conduct special investigations (e.g., compliance, fraud, misconduct) and deliver concise briefings and reports to management and stakeholders.
•    Prepare high-quality documentation and reports; present findings and facilitate closing meetings with site and regional leadership.
•    Continuously improve audit tools, analytics, and methodologies; support annual risk assessment and audit plan development.
•    Collaborate across functions and cultures; maintain strong communication with local sites and global Corporate Auditing; regular travel domestically and internationally for audit assignments are required.

 

Qualifications Required

•    Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business); CIA/CPA preferred.
•    5+ years of audit experience, including significant exposure to production/manufacturing; experience in chemical/process industries is a plus.
•    Mandatory experience working in an international company and multicultural environments; ability to operate across time zones and cultures.
•    Strong data, AI and IT literacy (SAP preferred; audit analytics tools a plus).
•    Excellent English (written and spoken); Mandarin preferred.
•    Proven ability to manage audits end-to-end, deliver persuasive reports and presentations, and build relationships with stakeholders.
•    High integrity, objectivity, and professional judgment; proactive, adaptive, and continuous-improvement mindset
