To strengthen our team in Eddyville,
we are looking for you as a(n) Production Development Engineer Intern.

 

Focus Areas:
Primary: Monitor cyclodextrin production alongside the Productivity team and assist in the following efforts:

1) Troubleshooting issues and downtime events within the plant by communicating with key members of the Production team/ Control Room; taking samples for analysis and working alongside laboratory members to qualitatively & quantitatively analyze in-process materials.

2) Reviewing data historian trends to find opportunities for improvement within the cyclodextrin process & gather intel to update the team on the health of the process; using Artificial Intelligence to clean and investigate historical data.

3) Investigate areas of the cyclodextrin process in need for innovation or scale-up, for example: use of carbon & resin technology to remove fatty acids from liquified starch; collaborate with Productivity team members to run pilot plant equipment to gather experimental data.

There are opportunities to self-lead projects & develop your leadership abilities, as well as opportunities to join Productivity team members in existing/new projects and work on communication skills.
