At our Eddyville site, we are currently looking for a ​Plant Security Specialist​ to be a part of our growing team.

 

 

This position is responsible for security and site support at the EDY security center in order to achieve established targets and objectives.   This position reports directly to the EDY Logistics Lead. 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure security coordination and site support service, with focus on policy, programs, and procedures.  
  • Responsibility for effectively managing site security procedures and administering, including DHS security aspects.  
  • Support coordination for the EDY site with security aspects, (managing ID badging, monitoring security CCTV, visitors) truck deliveries, and tanker processing.
  • Administer safety orientation to applicable visitors.
  • Ensure site emergency readiness is fulfilled.
  • Goods receipt completion and collection for material arriving at the plant.
  • Notify applicable departments timely of the arrival of inbound and outbound loads.     
  • Scan, copy and input plant data including maintenance work orders, site safety plans and safety training procedures.
  • Expectation to cover additional shifts as needed to fulfill service level requirements of the EDY site.

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of relevant professional experience within a security function or like kind welcome center experience
  • 2-5 years of relevant professional experience within a security function preferred
  • Multi-tasking competency and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with
  • continual interruptions
  • Intermediate/advanced computer skills with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tasks and tools (SAP, WACKER Intranet, Business Warehouse, Enterprise Buyer, WACKER specific IT tools, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) including inclusion and collaboration.
