Lab Technician I/II

WACKER SILICONES is one of the world’s biggest silicone manufacturers with silicone-based system solutions and over 3,000 different products.
At our Chino site, we are currently looking for a ​Lab Technician I/II​ to be a part of our growing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of laboratory testing including but not limited to rheology, tensile, tear, elongation, specific gravity, color matching, compression set and tension set.
• Enter data into electronic tracking system and organize general data related paperwork
• Improve laboratory processes and data tracking processes

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or related, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years relevant work experience
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and priority-setting skills are required.
• Must be a team-based professional with demonstrated people skill and be able to give/receive constructive feedback.
• Familiar with Microsoft office, ability to learn new computer system quickly
• Must be able to comprehend and follow standardized tests in a laboratory environment, report lab data by creating Excel spreadsheets, tables, and graphs
• Ability to differentiate color

This is a second shift position. The working hours are 2:00pm-10:30pm. 

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Chino is $37,605 to $68,943. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc . Wacker is a multi state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
