
The Technical Operator will work on the packaging line and respond to technical issues, package HDK in paper bags, FIBCs, and trucks to fulfill the customer needs as well as monitor and control DCS/PLC functions. The Technical Operator wil attend to machine errors and line stoppages, taking necessary measures to restart production.
Job Responsibilities:

Fork lift operations

Correct maintenance issues as needed

Contact appropriate personnel when additional expertise is required

Follow company policies regarding health and environmental protection, work safety, plant safety and quality

Responsible for RCRA generation as relating to container and labeling usage, maintenance and storage functions, and regular inspections of RCRA applicable areas

Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required

Proven technical and mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills

Physical strength and endurance are essential for this position

Effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders

Skill set to operate in a fast paced production environment while focusing on safety, quality and precision

Must be able to be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment and vibration

This position will be required to work at all work stations in a rotational manner. Rotation frequency varies.

This position will be required to work 12 hour shifts and rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, etc…)
