We are looking for capable, innovative, and enthusiastic achievers to join our team and grow with us. We are currently seeking an MRO Stores Clerk for our site in Charleston, TN.
What you will do:
The MRO Store Clerk will require the ability to coordinate and execute all SAP activities required by the MRO & Logistics Departments. This role will be responsible but is not limited to the following: reviewing and distributing reservation request, delivery schedules, conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates, and compiling reports on progress of activities, inventory levels, costs, and work problems. This position will also read and interpret documents such as receivers, Bill of Ladings, invoices, operating instructions, and procedure manuals to accomplish tasks. This position will report to MRO Stores Manager and must show a demonstrated ability to independently plan and perform their work duties.
- Responsible for accurate shipping transactions and details regarding incoming shipments to any related interface, as required.
- Verify and ensure shipments meet transportation regulations, solving obscurities by investigating missed details for all Logistics activities (e.g. order number, recipient, unloading point).
- Prepare domestic and export paperwork for shipments and verifying accuracy of delivery.
- Take all required steps involved with the identification and correction of issues relating to all MRO & Logistics activities.
- Monitor and correct inventory levels.
- Support internal movements throughout the site .
- Create and implement KPI reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Ensure all safety and environmental related maintenance and technical controls are performed in a timely manner.
- Other Duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
- A high school diploma or GED
- 2+ years in data entry or clerical experience in a warehouse and shipping environment
- 4+ years of warehouse and shipping experience, inventory control, and international shipping experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of warehouse organization at an industrial plant or knowledge of warehouse processes preferred
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint) required.
- Knowledge of SAP or other warehouse management systems is a plus.
