We are currently seeking an Intern to work with our Central Infrastructure team for the Summer of 2025 at our site in  Charleston, TN.

 

What you will do:

The intern could support projects in the following areas:

  • Review of condensate traps. Some condensate traps are discontinued by the vendor and alternative models need to be identified, specified, and sourced.  Review of spare parts strategy and MRP.
  • Installation booster pumps in the potable water system: Reduce network pressure; Scope: Engineering design, MOC, Sourcing of parts, Installation, Pressure drop simulation, Documentation (COMOS)
  • Installation auto prime system Cooling tower pumps: Scope: Engineering design, MOC, Sourcing of parts, Installation, Documentation: COMOS
  • Basic engineering skills, project management tools, PSM tools, Procurement process, Spare part strategies.

 

What we need from you:

  • Currently a rising sophomore or higher and attending school to obtain a college degree in the field of Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Available full-time in person commitment (Monday through Friday) from May 19th through August 8th
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Effective time-management abilities
  • Be willing to work in a globally-distributed, cross-functional, innovative, and agile team environment.
