we are looking for you as a(n) Assistant Operations Manager II - Technical Analytics.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Operations Manager in Technical Analytics for our site in Charleston, TN.

What you will do:

This position is responsible the availability of the building support systems and the maintenance planning and coordination within the building and analytics labs. They will also lead the building and maintenance support team which sets up equipment for maintenance activities, leads process improvement projects, and supports the day-to-day analytics and building processes.

Team managerial duties, 30% of time
Gate keeper, 25% of time
Support building MOCs, PTNs, RCAs, 5s, and process improvements, 15% of time
Building and Maintenance project coordination, 10% of time
POD reviews, team documentation, training, etc., 10% of time
Other duties as needed, 10% of time

What we need from you:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or related degree
3+ years’ experience in related field
Able to lead a team of hourly and salaried employees to achieve daily and long term goals and objectives
Can independently plan and execute projects to support equipment needs or process improvement goals for analytics
Can organize and schedule multiple operational and maintenance tasks on a daily basis
Knowledge of mechanical equipment, process equipment, and instrumentation
Collaborative team player that can work with external US or German counterparts to align lab goals and drive for results
Ability to support analytics on weekends and off hours as part of an on-call rotation
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Strong commitment to environmental health and safety excellence
Strong verbal and written communication skills
