we are looking for you as a(n) Summer 2025 College Internship - Environmental Health and Safety.

We are looking for capable, innovative, and enthusiastic achievers to join our team and grow with us. We are currently looking for highly motivated interns for our summer internship program beginning June 2025 through August 2025 at our Calvert City, KY location.

 

What you will do:

Learning objectives and tasks for a Wacker EHS internship would encompass topics and projects such as:

 

  • Confined space inventory review and update
  • Industrial Hygiene Sampling
  • Lockout Tagout tagging.
  • Noise maps review and updates.
  • Personal Protective Equipment Matrix
  • Procedure editing/cleanup
  • Safety Day planning
  • Safety Meeting preparation
  • Safety Data Sheets review and updates
  • SPIRIT management
  • Other EHS duties as assigned.

 

What we need from you:

  • Must be currently enrolled and active in an undergrade degree program. Currently enrolled and active in an Occupational Safety and Health degree program.
    Preferred Junior going to be a Senior in Chemical Engineering degree program.
  • Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA (cumulative)
