We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in the UK and Ireland to help us drive growth and innovation.

 

 

 

The role

 

As a Sales Manager, you’ll be the face of WACKER in your region—building strong relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that exceed customer expectations. Your role will include:

 

  • Grow the business: Identify new opportunities and expand WACKER’s market presence.
  • Build partnerships: Develop and maintain a strong network of customers and stakeholders.
  • Shape strategy: Analyze market trends, forecast growth, and prepare development plans.
  • Close deals: Prepare offers, negotiate terms, and secure agreements that benefit both WACKER and our customers.
  • Deliver excellence: Support smooth order processing, resolve inquiries, and maintain compliance.
  • Stay ahead: Monitor market data and share insights with the team.
  • Leverage tools: Use Salesforce and other platforms to track and manage opportunities.
 
What we need
 
  • Degree-level qualifications in Business, Engineering, Chemistry or Technology
  • Significant experience in Sales, Marketing or Technical Service
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English; German language is a plus.
  • IT skills (Salesforce, MS Office, SAP Business Objects).
  • UK Work permit – must have right to live and work in UK
  • Willingness to travel and thrive in an international environment.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work in diverse teams.
