we are looking for you as a(n) Research & Development Scientist I/II.

Job Responsibilities

Scientist role is responsible to develop, analyze and test new silicone-based materials and formulations. This role contributes to interdisciplinary R&D projects within a team environment.
Scientist will advance state of the art silicone-based materials and formulations.
Contribute to interdisciplinary R&D projects within a team environment for various market segments including e-mobility, automotive, health care, consumer care, electronics, industrial, etc.
Accurately records, analyses, and reports experiments data.
Focus on safe lab operations, managing lab routines, including equipment maintenance.
Effectively communicates with internal technical colleagues, including R&D, Business Teams, and Production.
Contribute to a creative R&D environment including ideation and innovation discussions.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field required.
Summer internship or equivalent research experience in a lab environment preferred.
Chemical synthesis experience in an industrial, academic, or government research lab preferred.
Knowledge of polymer chemistry and structure property relationships preferred.
Experience of characterization of chemical compounds via analytical techniques such as IR, UV, NMR, GC, DSC, DMA, TGA, etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Strong commitment to environmental health and safety excellence.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
