At our Ann Arbor site, we are currently looking for a ​Quality Manager​ to be a part of our growing team.

 

 

This position is responsible for leading and managing IMS and Quality Management functions for Division S and assure activities in the division comply with appropriate regulations and industry standards that apply and drives for overall improvement in product quality through focusing on the IMS integrity and effectiveness.  This position is responsible for maintaining IMS library documents, work with other document control teams to ensure document control conformance and effectiveness is maintained in whatever platform is utilized.  Work with other departments to ensure compliance to GMP, FDA-CFR, ISO, RC and Cosmetic standards and regulations. Manage audits, external (registration/customer) & internal, participate in internal audits for other sites, working with Regional IMS/Quality.  Work with Group, Divisional and Regional IMS & Quality colleagues to ensure alignment with Directives, WCC & Div. S policy / procedures. Work to streamline and improve the effectiveness of the documentation in the IMS library.  This position works in cooperation with Group, Divisional and Regional IMS & Quality colleagues regarding IMS, food safety, cosmetic and quality topics. Responsible for managing the Adrian QM team responsible for the inspection planning, COA and Material Approval processes in which that team also provides support in SAP for other projects, as required.  Work with the QC/QA manager to ensure the  Quality e-MOC system is maintained and effective, along with assisting in other system implementations & initiatives to ensure conformance & compliance.  Responsible for the department budget and expenditures and is overall responsible for the Quality Management systems at all Div. S sites in NCA.  Assist Div. S sites with any additional customer requirements, such as PPAP requirements, as needed.

 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Strong organizational and professional skills with extensive knowledge in quality management, tools, and international standards.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience managing Integrated management systems, which includes ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Responsible Care (RC14001),  EFfCI GMP and safety ISO 22000.
  • Analysis/Assessment techniques; such as 5-Why, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma
  • Experience in teaching, coaching the use of structured problem-solving techniques, such as the use of the 8D problem solving method and Six Sigma tools.
  • Experience working with leadership and team members to ensure a safety, quality and environmentally conscience culture.
