At our Ann Arbor site, we are currently looking for a ​Marketing Specialist​ to be a part of our growing team.




The Marketing specialist role is pivotal to profitable growth of assigned market segment – Thermal Insulation and is the key interface between the Sales team and other Functions within the organization including Supply Chain, Operations and Controlling. Pricing stewardship is a critical activity and requires a good understanding of the market and competition to support the business unit’s commercial activities including strategic investment planning. This position involves regular interactions with Global Segment Management for alignment on strategic objectives.  The position will also lead Market Development activities (outside of Thermal Insulation) for KEY market subsegments within the team


  • Develop pricing logic and maintain pricing in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Prepare, present and support execution of Regional Development Plans to meet annual revenue and profitability targets.
  • Provide guidance and support to Sales Managers in competitive positioning of product portfolio.
  • Lead Market Development activities (outside of Thermal Insulation) for KEY market subsegments within the team
  • Support Supply Chain and Operations in optimizing internal cost of production including accurate monthly sales forecast.
  • Engage in promotion through participation in trade shows, industry seminars and advertisements.
  • Liaise with Legal Function in developing and reviewing sales contracts and NDAs


Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in relevant field.            
  • A minimum of 5 years of position related experience but Marketing is desirable.
  • Experience in applications of fumed silica (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools and SAP
  • Ability to develop and make techno-commercial presentations
  • Good Negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and foster strong relationships.
  • Ability to Travel up to 50% of time.
