we are looking for you as a(n) Logistics Specialist I.
Job Responsibilities:
The Logistics Specialist manages, performs, and has oversight of 3PL shipping processes, inventory control/reconciliation, problem resolution and external material flow processes at Wacker's external warehouses and tollers.
- Warehouse and toller logistics support and management to meet customer delivery needs.
- Responsible for driving continuous improvement activities within the scope of the work processes at external warehouses and tollers.
- Manage the overall operational relationship with the external warehouses.
- Manage the process in conjunction with the 3PL shipments, returns and damaged products from the external warehouses and tollers.
- Work with Supply Chain, 3PL and CSR for problem shipment resolution.
- Main operational contact for IT requests, trouble shooting and the functional back up for all offsite warehousing activities in SAP and shipping.
- Monitor customer complaints and implement actions to reduce customer complaints, identify trends and assist the warehouses with root cause and corrective actions.
- Main source for resolution of Logistics Control Tower issues related to EDI errors.
- Responsible to identify and resolve improper user use of SAP to create deliveries and documents.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors required, preferred in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 0-3 years related experience
