Job Responsibilities

  • Developing, analyzing and testing new materials and formulations with a focus on sustainability within a global team environment.
  • Contributes to interdisciplinary development projects within a team environment.
  • Chemist will advance state of the art sustainable materials and formulation development for the target market Personal Care.
  • Accurately records, analyses, and reports experiments data.
  • Installation and implementation of new test equipment.
  • Focus on safe lab operations, managing lab routines, including equipment maintenance.
  • Effectively communicates with internal technical colleagues, including R&D, Business Teams, and Production.
  • Contributes to a creative R&D environment including ideation and innovation discussions.


Job Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Polymer Chemistry or related field required.
  • Minimum of a summer internship or equivalent research experience in a lab environment.
  • Cosmetic Science and Formulation Design experience in industrial, academic, or government research lab preferred.
  • Experience in test methods relevant for cosmetic/hair care is preferred
  • Experience in characterization of cosmetic products via analytical techniques and panel testing is preferred
  • Knowledge of polymer chemistry and structure property relationships preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong commitment to environmental health and safety excellence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
