At our site in Ann Arbor, we are currently looking for a(n) ​Administrative Assistant​ to join our growing team.


Job Responsibilities


The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Business Team Director(s) division and the supporting team(s). The support includes typical administrative activities such as scheduling and coordinating of meetings and travel, time keeping, providing samples, ordering and maintaining office and lab supplies, recruiting and new employee orientation support, communication with vendors and external partners. Successful applicants will be resourceful and possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills. Must be able to shift priorities on-the-fly, while working with all levels in a multi-cultural environment.


Specific Tasks

  • Coordinate and schedule internal meetings and meetings with customers and vendors
  • Coordinate site visitor registration and support security processes
  • Bring creative input and management of special team and company events 
  • Do time keeping entries for all exempt and non-exempt team members
  • Coordinate team member's travel and support expense management
  • Support recruiting process by coordinating interview process and new hire on-boarding
  • Support requisition and purchasing processes for office and lab supplies and instrument investments, etc.
  • Internal marketing of the BT via design and maintenance of the team globe site, and other web based tools
  • Responsible for the sample process for the department
  • Creative input and management of team meetings and events




  • Associate Degree in a related field is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a professional environment or equivalent.
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel are required, SAP experience a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
