Job responsibilities

  • Is a subject matter expert in Protein Analytical topics and projects;
  • Supports the evaluation of the feasibility of new project within the area of expertise;
  • Direct contact and mentor of the technicians working within the team, and other internal departments;
  • Deputy of the sub department's supervisor (disciplinary management);
  • Direct contact and mentor of the departmental technicians;
  • Support the training of (new) technicians;
  • Supports working in a safe environment and activity promotes this activity;
  • Document revision and review, daily overview of planned activities;
  • Evaluates results, writes conclusions and reports;
  • Responsible for accurate and timely review and "support to" of departmental documentation, results, labexpections, OOS investigations, change Controls and CAPA's;
  • Active communication on issues and delays and comes with proposals or Solutions, were possible;
  • Responsible for troubleshooting in (non) routine situations;
  • Representative for the sub department during cliënt visits and in audits;
  • SME in project teams for topics related to all activities within the responsibilities of the protein analytics team;
  • Verification of compliance with GMP regulations;
  • Technical assessment of relevant testing (e.g. HPLC, capillary electrophoresis , spectrophotometric analyses in accordance with the internal procedures);
  • Lead internal projects when applicable;
  • Participates in all practical activities within the sub department in accordance with GLP/GMP;
  • Reports aberrant results to the Supervisor QC Protein Analytics timely, factual and accurate registration (including calculation, assessment and control) of Quality Control records;
  • Will perform validation (development) and setup of new analytical methods / processes.
     

Qualifications required

  • Academical / HLO with significant experience;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a GMP (Bio)analytical QC environment;
  • Knowlegde of LC methods;
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal;
  • English required, Dutch is a pre;
  • You reside in and are eligible to work in The Netherlands (valid work permit)..
