We are currently looking for a ​Process Engineer / Scientist (DSP) (f/m/d)​ to join our growing team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Development and transfer from customer of DSP/mRNA/LNP processes;
  • Planning, execution and reporting of DSP/mRNA/LNP small-scale/laboratory runs together with Head DSP and technician/ scientist;
  • Transfer of developed and customer processes to the (GMP) production department of AMS and other Wacker Biotech locations;
  • Participate in Project teams including communication to customers of Wacker Biotech;
  • Identify opportunities and propose improvements/investments that lead to higher quality or efficiency of the organization.

 

Qualifications required:

  • Academic level of education in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or a related discipline;
  • Several years of experience, preferably in handling of nucleic acids and/or lipid nanoparticles in the context of process development;
  • Accurate, structured, flexible, and quality and safety-conscious;
  • Team player with a high degree of autonomy;
  • Good Dutch and English written and oral communicative skills;
  • You reside in and are eligible to work in The Netherlands (valid work permit).
